Thanks to Julie, Barry, Linda, & Kendra for joining us on our trip to Cedarlands today. The weather didn't quite cooperate at the level we would have liked but it didn't keep us from having fun.

I was on this trip (second from right on lower picture). Despite a deluge about 10 minutes from the summit of our hike, all concerned had a great day. Doug and Jack are wonderful people as well as thoughtful, knowledgeable and skilled guides. On a day tailor made for hypothermia, we had a dry lunch (great food, by the way, even for us vegans) and a pleasant day. In large part this was because of the guides' extensive planning and the participants following the guides' recommendations. Also, the canoe they provided was high quality and light weight (Kevlar), which was much appreciated on the portages. If you are thinking about a guided wilderness experience, these are the guides you want. They provide enough instruction and explanation that you learn and grow, but appreciate that your also out there for pleasure. Jack and Doug enabled all participants to have a terrific experience.
